Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing phdthesishelp.in. We want you to be satisfied with our services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how they are calculated, and the process for requesting one. By placing an order with us you agree to the terms below.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all paid services on phdthesishelp.in including thesis writing, editing, proofreading, formatting, data analysis, consultation hours, and custom research deliverables unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

2. Order cancellations

  • Before work begins: If you cancel your order before we assign staff or begin substantive work, you are eligible for a full refund (minus any payment gateway fees that cannot be refunded).
  • After work begins: If work has already started (research, writing, data processing, or revisions), cancellation requests will be treated as partial-completion cancellations and refunds — if any — will be calculated as described below.

3. Eligibility for refunds

You may request a refund if one or more of the following apply:

  • We fail to deliver the agreed final deliverable as described in the order/contract.
  • The delivered work is demonstrably incomplete in a way that we do not correct within a reasonable revision process.
  • We have agreed in writing to a refund during a customer support resolution.

Refunds are not granted for:

  • Change of mind after work has substantially commenced.
  • Dissatisfaction based on subjective preference (e.g., “I don’t like the writing style”) if we have provided the agreed number of revisions or if the original requirements were followed.
  • Minor issues that are correctable via revision requests (you must use revision requests before seeking a refund).

4. Revision first policy

We strive to resolve problems through revisions. If you are unhappy with any deliverable, please request a revision and supply clear, specific feedback. In most cases we will correct issues under the scope of your original order without charge. Only if the revision process fails to resolve the issue and we acknowledge the failure will a refund be considered.

5. Non-refundable items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Work already delivered and accepted by the client (explicit acceptance or no dispute raised within the agreed acceptance period).
  • Services marked “non-refundable” at the time of purchase (for example, certain consultation time blocks or non-recoverable research purchases).
  • Payment gateway fees or third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.

6. Refund calculation (partial work / partial refunds)

When partial refunds are appropriate, we calculate them by:

  1. Estimating the percentage of work completed (based on tasks performed and deliverables handed over).
  2. Charging for work completed at the agreed rate.
  3. Subtracting the charge for completed work from the total paid amount.
  4. Deducting any non-refundable third-party fees already incurred.

We will explain the calculation and provide an itemised breakdown.

7. How to request a refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@phdthesishelp.in with your order number, a concise description of the problem, and any supporting files or correspondence.
  2. Our support team will acknowledge receipt and usually ask for any missing details needed to evaluate the claim.
  3. Please allow us the opportunity to correct the issue via revisions first.

8. Review and decision

  • We will review refund requests in good faith and aim to reach a fair resolution. If we agree a refund is appropriate, we will confirm the refundable amount in writing and process the refund.
  • For disputed claims we may ask for additional documentation (assignment briefs, original requirements, delivered files, timestamped correspondence).

9. Refund method & timing

  • Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. If that is not possible, we will offer an alternative such as site credit.
  • Processing times depend on payment providers and banks. We will process our side of the refund promptly once approved and notify you by email.

10. Complaints & escalation

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may request escalation by replying to our decision email and asking for a senior review. If escalation does not result in a resolution, both parties may opt for mediation or other dispute resolution methods; this policy does not prevent either party from seeking legal remedies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted at phdthesishelp.in and include a revised effective date. The version published on our website at the time of your order governs your purchase.

12. Governing law

This policy and any disputes arising out of it are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction for legal disputes will be the competent courts in India unless otherwise agreed in writing.
